We’d like to introduce you to our new Beneficiary Executive, Daniel, who joined the lottery team in May. Daniel will be working closely with our current beneficiaries plus helping us to reach other groups and charities in the community so we can work together to generate funding.
Name: Daniel Agius
Age: 31 going on 21
Tell us a bit about your background
I have lived in Hull all of my life. I attended Malet Lambert school, then went on to Wilberforce College to study Law, psychology, English, Media and Film, followed by A BSC(Hons) course in Media Technology at Lincoln University. I never knew what direction I wanted to take in life until I became a Marketing Executive at the age of 25. Fun Fact – I started my first business at age 10 breeding hamsters for a local pet shop.
What are you most looking forward to working on as part of the lottery team?
Working with an amazing diverse group of people who thrive on making a difference within the community. Also being part of generous, life changing organisations, that touch and help so many people in a variety of ways and helping them to expand.
What’s your favourite thing about Hull?
Hull has grown so much as a city over the years and has started to gain some of the recognition it deserves for the fabulous things the city and people have to offer.
How do you take your tea?:
Green, apparently it’s good for you…
