Dove House Hospice has been voted one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Not-For-Profit Organisations To Work For in the UK. This amazing award proves that with good leadership and a supportive culture, a place that could be thought of as sad can become a place full of joy.
It’s fantastic news for the local hospice and a huge achievement to be recognised at a national level for their dedication towards their brilliant staff and team of volunteers.
Andrew Walker, director of human resources at Dove House Hospice said,
“We’ve worked hard to create an environment in which staff feel credited for the work they do and their hard work constantly improves the service we’re offering. At the end of the day, all our staff and volunteers know their hard work is making such a difference to the lives of local people; I think that’s what really makes this place special.”
