How rspca hull and east riding Help
We have a newly built 1-million-pound 30 dog kennels and a 16-pod cattery at our Animal Rescue Centre on Clough Road. This supports us in caring for and rehabilitating the most vulnerable animals in our region, which are brought to us by the National RSPCA Inspectors. Our Animal Rescue Centre units is normally at capacity, which shows how vital it is, not only to find every animal in our care a special forever home, but also for us to fulfil our mission in educating the local community about the work we do. By showing people what animals need to lead a comfortable and fulfilled life, we hope to reduce cruelty and promote kindness towards animals both locally and nationally.
“The RSPCA Hull & East Riding were there throughout the whole process. Their kindness, advice, and ongoing support made all the difference. They truly care. Not just for animals, but for the people who love them.”
- Quote from a beneficiary: Grace Grant
Help for all animals - Case Study
Bella (13) and George (11) arrived at our Animal Rescue Centre after their owner, coping with disabilities and the loss of his wife, realised he could no longer give them the care they needed.
On arrival, they were in poor condition, with matted fur and overgrown nails. Thanks to the generosity of Prim and Proper Dog Grooming, they soon felt fresh and comfortable.
Their health was a bigger challenge. Unsure of their prognosis, we committed to covering their treatment because they deserved the chance to thrive. Several vet visits followed, including lump removal surgery for Bella and eye treatment for George.
Once ready for adoption, Hazel entered their story. She had visited our Christmas open day, keen to adopt an older pair. Drawn instantly to Bella and George, she returned the next day to complete our perfect match form. Her love grew with each visit, and she patiently waited while they finished their final checks.
Hazel has worked closely with our staff in one-on-one sessions to ensure a smooth transition to her home. Her dedication has been unwavering, and we know this is the start of a beautiful chapter for them all.
We’re grateful to all the staff whose early support made their rehabilitation possible, and to Hazel for opening her heart. Bella and George’s journey shows the difference our team can make with your support.
We wish them all the happiness in their new home — and invite you to consider adopting or supporting animals in need.
