one-to-one enfield

At One-to-One Enfield we work towards inclusion of people with Learning Difficulties and Autistic Adults, so that they can live their lives on an equal footing to others in a community that is accessible to them. We rely on the generosity of the public to help us carry out the activities that many within the community reply upon.

WHY SUPPORT US

Since its formation in 1991, the charity has supported 100s of members, supporting them to live full and active lives, helping them navigate health, care, and the wider community. We keep members at the heart of all we do.
Members play an active role in decision making, planning, and governance of the charity, in a way that really helps and addresses their needs.
60% of our Board of Trustees have lived experience, the other all have learnt experience, so together Trustees aid us with decisions and support to ensure we are fulfilling our aims of allowing our members the opportunities to live more fully.

We run a range activities and programmes for Autistic Adults (over 18yrs) and those with Learning Difficulties to take part in within the community.
We run Learning events and Awareness training.
We administer Enfield’s Learning Difficulties and Autism Council, and chair the Enfield Adult Autism Strategy steering group.
We provide volunteering opportunities and training within our organisation.
We provide a healthy living training to give people accessible information on staying healthy.
We give people opportunities to learn and develop their leadership skills.
We employ members to work with us in the head office and in support of activities.

£26 could support us to take a member on a trip to develop social and community inclusion, promote independence, and provide joy. We offer trips every month and take up to 20 members on each trip.
£52 could contribute towards a member to attend a cooking course, provide ingredients, a chef, and venue hire. The programme will improve diet, reduce risk of diabetes, improve cardio and maintain weight. This is a 6-week programme. Run four times a year.

Pay for the year up front when you sign up and you will receive a free Lotte the Lottery Bear! With a new top released every year, you’ll soon have enough for a picnic!
