our impact
Health inequality remains a significant challenge across our local communities. Charitable funding allows us to go beyond statutory services, helping us remove barriers so more staff, patients and their families can benefit from enhanced care and support.
What have we funded recently - highlights!
A Christmas party for 20 diabetic paediatric patients - £280
New physiotherapy gym equipment - £720
Tilt reclining chemotherapy chair - £1,995
4 patient wheelchairs with pressure relieving cushion - £3,560
Rapid infuser device used in theatres - £4,980
An example of what we do
A powerful example of this impact is OUR success for the Special Care Baby Unit at George Eliot Hospital. Through a heartfelt collective effort, £6,685 was raised to purchase a neonatal vein finder — a vital piece of equipment now in use and already making a difference for the hospital’s tiniest patients.
The device helps staff locate veins more quickly and accurately, reducing discomfort for babies and easing anxiety for parents during procedures.
THE DIFFERENCE you could make
As a registered charity, our work is made possible by the generosity of our community and the commitment of our staff, who together help us meet the ongoing challenge of delivering the very best care for those who rely on us.
