T.O.F.S Supporter Celebrates £1,000 Jackpot Win
Kirsty came up at the top of the List in the Lottery draw on Friday the 17th of June scooping the £1,000 jackpot!
Kirsty has been supporting TOFS by playing Your Charity Lottery since July 2021 and marked her 1st year anniversary as a Lottery player with the Jackpot win.
The win came as a huge surprise and Kirsty was more than happy to share her story of why she plays Your Charity Lottery in support of TOFS.
"Ava was born in June 2020 and diagnosed with OA/TOF shortly after birth. She had her repair operation the next day at Edinburgh Sick Kids and was discharged three weeks later. We are so proud of how far she has come. Other than the occasional sticky, you wouldn't know that she has OA/TOF. Her favourite foods are cheese, Grandpa's soup, bourbon biscuits and chocolate!
My family wanted to do something for TOFS so we signed up for 'Your Charity Lottery’ with TOFS as our chosen charity. Shortly after signing up we received our lottery number and a lovely TOFS teddy bear for Ava as a thank you for signing up.
We were hoping we might win a tenner or two but to be told we had won the £1000 jackpot was amazing - especially as we won it on Ava's second birthday weekend! It was a brilliant way to kick start her birthday celebrations.
We have decided to continue supporting the charity through the lottery as it is such an easy way to support the amazing work that TOFS do."
TOFS have had 41 lottery winners with a total of £1415 won between them. Over £6,000 has been raised for TOFS from Lottery players since they partnered with Your Charity Lottery in January 2021.
