about us
St Giles Animal Welfare non-for-profit provides a safe and loving environment to animals who need our help. Every animal deserves a second chance at their happy ever after, and that is what we are dedicated to achieve.
It is our mission to advocate for animals in need and put them at the forefront of everything we do. To work with our local community to educate and run community projects that ensure animals’ needs are understood and met. Only then can we hope to give animals a second chance at a better life.
We also support the RSPCA South East and South West Branch by boarding dogs and cats on their behalf and whilst in our care we help to find them their happy ever afters.
We take dogs out of the puppy farm trade, many of which have had little human contact, having spent most of their days in a cage or kennel. They come into the centre scared and confused and we are dedicated to changing their lives forever.
what we do
At St Giles Animal Welfare our policy is to ensure that the welfare needs of every single animal, whatever the cost, are met until such time as they are ready to find their ‘forever home’.
On arrival at the centre every animal is checked by the veterinary team, they are micro chipped, vaccinated, neutered, wormed, flea treated and receive any additional treatments or surgery they need. We provide safety, a warm bed and a full tummy, rehabilitation, and a lifetime of support for every adoptee, but most importantly we provide love and we would not be able to do any of this without the amazing support of people like you.
THE DIFFERENCE you could make
Many of the animals arrive at the centre having suffered from neglect, abandonment and abuse. They come to St Giles Animal Welfare with a long road to recovery ahead of them and we provide the love, medical care and behavioural training they need to prepare them for their new life. We may only be small, but we are tasked with a massive job, largely supported by volunteers but all with the same objective, to give every pet rescue the ‘happily ever after’ each one so deserves. PLAYING THE LOTTERY and choosing St Giles Animal Rescue YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE by helping us to support as many pets as we possibly can.
