Our Story
Health Way Foundation is an NHS charity which focuses on helping our NHS do more. We fund projects relating to Trust environments, patient activities, staff well-being, innovation and non-essential equipment in order to help patients access the best possible care when they need it the most.
We also work with volunteers and provide an important link between the Trust and its communities.
We ensure that any donations received do not go into the exchequer funds. We use them to reach above and beyond what the NHS alone can provide, touching lives and making a huge difference to millions of people when they are at their most vulnerable.
A little about what we do
Our Circle of Wishes is a scheme we run where we allow people to apply for the funds the charity holds. All ideas are welcome that can benefit the experience of our patients and service users across our communities and sites, units and hospitals. At Health Way Foundation, we want to make as many wishes come true as possible to increase the well-being and comfort of all that are impacted by our charity.
“The money provided by the Health Way Foundation has allowed patients and staff the opportunity to take advantage of a now bright and cheerful garden area at Meadow Court. This has allowed our patients to exercise and have physio in more pleasant surroundings helping towards their rehabilitation to get back to their own homes.” – a service user
THE DIFFERENCE you could make
We are a not-for-profit charity and rely heavily on the generosity of people and their donations to help as many patients as possible. We have minimal financial support and every £1 could help make a difference to those who need our help
£26 could provide morning tea to the Memory Café, supporting Dementia Alzheimer patients and their carers.
£52 could provide 10 welcome packs to give to our adolescent inpatients when they arrive at the unit to help them feel welcome.
