aScEND Hull Partner with Your Charity Lottery
aScEND Hull, have recently partnered with Your Charity Lottery in order to raise vital funds to help people in the local SEND community and their families.
Having the Lottery as a fundraising initiative gives them the ability to offer a way to raise funds and give offer the supporter something back in the form of a cash prize. Working with Your Charity Lottery will help build a sustainable income stream to help with charitable activities.
prizes range from £10 to a huge £10,000 rollover with a guaranteed £1,000 jackpot prize being won every single week. To keep things fun and fresh there are also super draws with increased prizes.
aScEND Hull are committed to providing a wide range of events such as arts and crafts activities, 0-5 play sessions, sensory sessions and Lego therapy sessions as well as many others. These sessions are tailored to meet the needs of the SEND community and their families. aScEND are a CIC and rely on the generosity of the public to help them carry out the activities that many within the community reply upon. WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I enjoy paddle boarding and ice skating with my family! We love any kind of sport and being outdoors.
WHAT WILL THE LOTTERY MONEY HELP TO FUND?
The lottery money will help to fund all aspects of aScEND from craft sessions, gardening groups, playgroups and social clubs! Our members will benefit enormously from the generosity of the lottery players.
TEA OR COFFEE?
Either! As long as it is white with 2 sugars!
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN HELPING IN THE COMMUNITY?
Myself and my sister-in-law had been working within this sector for about 2 years before we decided to go it alone in February 2020. Unfortunately, covid hit a few weeks later and we had to wait until November before we could officially run our first session. So, all in all, 5 years!
IF YOU COULD HAVE ONE SUPER POWER WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
The super power I would like isn't really a super power as such but I would love to get my letter for Hogwarts! Expelliarmus!

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB?
Dream job would be Professor of the Dark Arts at Hogwarts! (I am a Slytherin!)
